Utah Trip - Trail Ride on the Stillman Ranch - July 5, 2016
On July 5th, I went out with the "boys" to do a trail ride at the Stillman Ranch. It was great and the ride was through some beautiful territory.
Randy, Noella's son,
was a hoot! On the way to pay for the trail ride, he knew I was taking
pictures and did a little "dance" for me! HA!
Luke, Mary's grandson and Danny's
son, was assigned a horse named Cookie.
Danny was patting Trigger.
I asked Luke where Roy Rogers was. He gave me a look and said, "WHO?!!",
Geesh, I feel old!

One of the horses must have
been teething because he was chewing on the metal hitching rail.
It was gorgeous country
for a trail ride! Randy was in front of me on Trigger.
We passed by the dog
houses that they used for the sled dogs during winter snow mobile rides.
Luke mounted up on Cookie and
ready to go!
The trail ride took
us through the aspens and the Queen Anne's Lace. VERY Pretty!

Luke's horse had to
do what comes natural somewhere along the way! YUCK!
And...at the end of
the ride...Danny's horse REALLY had to take a leak BAD!!!

On the way out of
the Stillman ranch, Danny stopped so that I could take a picture or two
of the Weber River. Beautiful.
We all had to stop
at the rest area...I mean, the horses gave us the idea! We were not quite
like Danny and Luke's horses...we went inside to use the bathroom! This
is Danny coming out of the rest area! He posed for me but didn't do a
little dance like Randy did! HA!
Randy, Noella's son,
was fun to go places with, because he has a great sense of humor! He told
me to get a picture of him holding up the Stillman Ranch sign like Superman!
Well, I didn't quite get the job done, but I told him if I got on my knees
to do the picture, I might NEVER get back up! They would have to rig up
a block and tackle and we didn't have the time!HA!
I asked Luke to pose
for one of his DISASTER photos. Here he is about to fall into the Weber
River! HA!
