Utah Trip - July 4, 2016 - Getting ready for the Celebration
This was the view
just across the street from the rental house.
The yellow house is where we
stayed. You can see the Utah state capital to the right.
This was the rent house that Mary had arranged. Mary and Danny are on the balcony talking about the get-together for July 4th.
The rent house was a duplex.
The door on the right opened onto stairs that led up to the upstairs house
that was on top of the downstairs house to the left.
Jacey had the kids dressed
for the 4th of July. Here is Lilly getting the final touches to her outfit.

This vacationing stuff is exhausting.

People begin to arrive. Here's
Noella and Anne (Mary's sister-in-law) and Mary and Mike (Shelly's husband).
Mary said he looked very "hefty" so we all started calling him
"hefty" Mike! He's way over 6 feet tall and was once a bouncer!
Jacey is very patriotic
and so are Lilly and Alexander.
As people arrive, there is
almost always a crowd in the kitchen!

manage to find a clear spot in the kitchen!

Mary's son Danny was cooking
spaghetti. Jacey and Mary had made the sauce earlier.
Noella and Mary Tate help Shelly
with the bread. Noella has long been known to have an affliction of the
eyes and tongue that ONLY shows itself when having a picture taken!
Shelly prepares a HUGE mass
of "Bob's" garlic bread in the upstairs kitchen.
Shannon helps Danny with the
spaghetti.

Everyone gathered around to
watch a DVD tribute to Dwain that his family put together.

This was the best I could do
to get pictures of the fireworks in the valley. They were going off all
over the place, but were too low to catch!
Fire Tubes...Almost as good
as sparklers!!!
