Next, my duty was to make little rolls for baking.

Next, Noella took them out of the oven to cool.

On Sunday, jim drove Mary to church and Noella and I , sinners that we are, stayed home, and I had a lesson in how to make Noleos. These are reminiscent of Oreos but made with chocolate cake and cream cheese filling. YUM! Step 1, Mix up the cake mix.

Okay, I may have flunked out on making little balls. Noella informed me that I had a reject here. He was too oblong. YIKES! Now THAT is discrimination!

A better batch!

Stage next, Noella fills the Noleos with cream cheese filling. Yum!

Finished product. Ready for the cook-out!

Then we went back home and later that day, Noella's kids came over. This is Randy, Jim and Noella's son.

When Mary got home from church, Noella, Mary and I went over to see Dolores who lives nearby. This is her dog.

We caught Dolores doing some work on her backyard fountain.

Mary got to play with the dog!

Noella and Jim's son Tim was there with Madeliene!

Randy's wife, Mary , with her son Ryan, and Tim's daughter Madeliene.

Dolores came over to join us. Notice that Mary and I have twin shirts! The "My State is Bigger Than Your State" shirst went over big in Maine, and I knew they would here to! We got some good comments!

Ryan, Madeliene and Alex playing.

Jim and Randy.

Noella with her grandson Ryan.

It was a great cook-out. Everyone had fun. Notice that Noella seems to be having trouble with that tongue again!

The next day, Noella took us to the airport and our great trip ended. I did take a picture in Denver where we made connections of Mary eating a Noleo and sent it to Jim and Noella!

Jim was the chef and cooked the hamburgers. Noella was inside with everything else!

Mary with Alex.
