The next day, Noella took us on another Salt Lake City tour. We started by going over to pick up Dolores. This is Dolores' cat.

I think this was called the Assembly Hall.

We started at Temple Square. This is the Temple.

Then we went to the Tabernacle to hear the pin drop without any microphones...and it's TRUE. She dropped a pin WAY down yonder and we all could hear it! Cool!

They have some beautiful plants all around Temple Square.

Then we went into the old Utah Hotel which is now called the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.

Shot of the Visitor's Center.

A shot of the fountains from the 10th floor of the Utah Hotel.

We went up to the top floor of the Utah Hotel and got a great shot of the Temple.

The fountain on the roof of the Conference Center comes down to street level and then runs through the shopping center. The stream in the shopping center has trout in it. It's definitely cool!

They had a very simple watering system for these potted plants that watered them automatically.

Next, we hit the new Conference Center.

We had a guided tour of the gardens on the roof. Everyone must be accompanied by a Mormon guide. When we got up to the roof, Dolores, as is her habit, struck off across the roof to do her own thing. Noella took off after her. Mary and I were waiting with the guide like good , little tourists! The guide got a little panicky when she saw Noella and Dolores going across the roof, so, started yelling for them to come back! That's Dolores in the orange top and Noella up ahead of her in the beige outfit. The gulde is in the white skirt. It was a little funny!!

This is the stream in the City View Shopping Center.

Mary took a picture of the trout in the City View Shopping Center stream.

Then we drove by the Capital Building.

I think Noella had some eye trouble that ONLY occurred when someone took a picture of her!!

Mary and Noella at City View Shopping Center. Noella was giving me reverse bunny ears! Geesh!
