Today, we went back north to visit West Yellowstone park. We passed the Grand Tetons on the way.

We stayed at Elk Country and had our own little cabin. Dolores saved us much money by letting us use her car for our Wyoming travels. She has a vintage car, a 1986 Ford Crown Vic. We had a very comfortable ride.

We came across a snowbank at one of the Continental Divide Signs. Do they look cold?!!

The high peak in this photo is called Grand Teton.

Mary and I were holding the spot, but I found it more interesting to watch the tourists! Mary, apparently, knows chipmunk psychology, because she managed to coax this little guy out from under the bench by chirping and squeaking like a chipmunk. Now, I was more amused watching the surrounding tourists watch this crazy lady squawking like a chipmunk. Now THAT was entertainment!

At the Old Faithful park area, this is a view of the area which has several other geysers than Old Faithful. We got there just as Old Faithful had finished and had to wait one hour and 20 minutes before it went off again. So Mary and I squatted on the bench in front to possess a front row seat. Dolores went off to look at the shops.

See that geyser down in the background? Well, it was being a lot more entertaining than Old Faithful. Although, here, you cannot see it, but Old Faithful was sputtering.

Oh, RATS! False Alarm. All cameras go down!

OKAY, now we're talking! Old Faithful begins to erupt! YAY! All cameras go up!

This was called the Paint Pot.

At its height. They say that it has lost a lot of its power. Well, I would too at that age!

OKAY! Here we go! Cameras up!

Passing Grand Teton on the way back to Jackson Hole.

Driving back to Jackson Hole in the late afternoon.

There was a downed tree that was very artistic near the Paint Pots stop. This is Mary and Dolores posing for me!
