The next day Mary, Dolores and myself drove up to Jackson Hole. We were going to have Noella with us, but she has been having some heart rhythm problems and could not go. This was some of the Utah/Idaho plains on the way. Mostly a little boring, but pretty in their own way, I guess!

We went through Paris, Idaho and stopped to take a picture of the Paris Tabernacle.

Apparently, I provide comic relief to the girls. I had to relieve myself at a Wyoming rest stop. I took a picture of the pebbled stalls. I thought it was quite nice. The other 2 ladies just looked at me like I was a nut and didn't even go in! Humph!

My GPS (whom I have nicknamed Sarah after Sarah Palin, because she is loud and obnoxious and sometimes she is right!) took us the correct way, but Mary and I got confused and Mary overrode Sarah and went left when we should have gone right We ended up going around Bear Lake in Idaho Actually, that turned out to be cool. Mary pretended that she meant to go there all the time...uh-huh.

Montpelier, Idaho was a cute little town. They have tourists benches with bears!

And then we went through Afton, Wyoming. They had benches , too, but not as cute as Montpelier's benches.

I thought this little store was cute!

Okay, Afton's benches were not as cute as Montpelier's but they had a GREAT arch!

Salt River Pass

Coming into Jackson Hole.

In the Salt River Pass.

After we checked into the hotel, we went downtown to explore. This is Dolores and Mary under one of the Antler arches in the square in Jackson Hole. A cold front had come through and they were chilly! Got down to 37 degrees that night. Amazing, since it had been 106 in Nevada!

Mary took this picture of me giving bunny ears to a bear! Ooooo....scary!

The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. Very Famous! Jackson Hole reminded me of several tourist traps I had been to like, Wimberly, Fredericksbuurg in Texas and Bar Harbor in Maine!
