Head of ranch security, Jodi, patrols her perimeter. Notice the tongue is as long as her ears! Jodi is a Blue Lacey dog which is the state dog of Texas.

Dena says that is called "spider spit. They use that to make a red dye. Cool, huh?!

This was the season for the cactus fruit thay call toonas. Notice the white stuff.
