2nd Annual Art Retreat at the Bunkhouse

We actually did some art work during the 4 day retreat! Carrie Allbritton works with acrylics and does HUGE abstracts. While I worked on my one painting that I had started last year, Carrie whipped out 3 the first day!! In between, she found lots of time for relaxing, which is a BIG part of this retreat!
Marchita Priest managed to keep abreast of Carrie and whipped out 5 or 6 small oil paintings while she was retreating!
Even Sadie, Dena's three legged dog enjoyed painting with us!
Please note: the artists wished me to let you know that these works are, as yet, unfinished! This is what we accomplished in 4 days!
Mary Walters was working on this acrylic abstract.
Lynn Chatman was working on this cute painting of two little girls!
Dena painted with us. She was trying something new by painting a photo of an old man slumped on a park bench.
These were two of many paintings Marchita was working on!
I was working on a painting I started as a demonstration for the Conroe Art League.
Shirley Blevins was working on a painting she started in one of Vie Dunn-Harr's workshops.
This is one of Dena's more recent paintings from her Venice trip.
Agnes Stephens was working on a couple paintings. One of my favorites is this one of a horse. I LOVE horse paintings!
I also worked on trying to finish this lighthouse painting had started last year using Vie Dunn-Harr's methods.
This is one of Carrie's many masterpieces!
