2nd Annual Ranch Rock Race 2010 - Contestants
Last
year I came up with the bright idea of having an art retreat and a Ranch
Rock Race out at the Bunkhouse which is located near Marble Falls. Surprisingly,
I can get quite a few artists interested in these endeavors of mine; so,
we were all set for a great retreat and race. The idea was to wear jockey
colors and paint your ranch rock and steed stick with those same colors.
This would cause less confusion during the race when trying to figure
out one rock from another especially if there was a photo finish. We had
a couple new contenders this year so it proved to be a rousing race!
There's
always one in the group! Ann Hoffpauir thought we were going to ride the
steed stick...ha...no such luck! Wrong way, Ann!
